Chesterfield Taxpayer Award goes to Ms. Nancy Thomas

The Taxpayer is the first to recognize sound thought on issues that affect our purses...

Nancy Thomas is deserving of such recognition.  Nancy Thomas is the president/CEO of the Retail Merchants Association, which represents retailers and related businesses and provides advocacy, education and networking for member companies.

Listen closely elected officials and government farmers to her in her own words... from the September edition of that great publication... Chesterfield Monthly.

The proposed Chesterfield and Henrico tax on prepared foods places the retail, food and hospitality community at an economic disadvantage. The Retail Merchants Association has a long-standing policy to oppose industry specific taxes and suggests each locality consider alternative sources of revenue representing a broader range of the constituency rather than an individual business group. Why is one industry singled out to serve as tax collector for the locality?

Check out how the Retail Merchants Association can assist you and join today!

The Taxpayer is ready to roll to election day!!!  More news coming soon!!

Taxpayers are frank; but, always polite. Use commonsense and write like you would to your mother...
